Meet the dance ensemble

The Hillsdale High School Dance Ensemble is a dance performing group commitment to excellence through strong work ethic and character. The commitment to ensemble is a year long one, and each member must audition each year to earn a spot on or back onto the ensemble.

This class is scheduled during 4th period and each member will be expected to have excellent attendance. Performances that are required of all dancers: Holiday Showcase, Annual Spring Concert, High School community events, rallies and school related events and fundraisers. Ensembles focus is on skill and performance and will gain knowledge and experience through performances about production skills while producing their own choreography and performances.

Clara Beck - Junior

Clara Beck is a Junior at Hillsdale and this is her third year on the Dance ensemble. She started dancing when she was 4 years old taking ballet and tap. Later in elementary school she fell in love with hip hop and started dancing competitively in different styles of dance. Her favorite styles are jazz and hip hop! When Clara isn’t dancing she loves to hangout with her friends, go shopping, and listen to music. Clara is so grateful to be apart of hillsdale dance and wants to thanks her family for supporting her dance journey so far!


Ella Carter - junior


Ella Carter is a Junior at Hillsdale High School and this is her second year on the ensemble. Ella found her passion for dancing at 6 years old by taking ballet and jazz classes. Ella now dances competitively at Melodic Remedy Dance Studio. In addition to dance, Ella is also a part of Hillsdale’s cheerleading team! When not dancing or cheering, Ella enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going to the beach, and traveling. Ella is so grateful and excited to perform in Knight Moves for the second time and wants to thank her family, friends, and coaches for the endless support!


Bella Chun - SENIOR*

Bella is a Senior and this is her fourth year being on Hillsdale’s Dance Ensemble. When Bella was seven, she began competitive gymnastics. Five years ago, Bella decided to switch from gymnastics to dance. Bella’s favorite style of dance is jazz but she loves learning other styles too! Some things Bella enjoys doing besides dancing is hanging out with friends, shopping, and watching movies with her family. Bella would like to thank her mom for always supporting her in dance, her sisters for pushing her to be her best, her little brother for being her number one fan, and her grandparents for always being there for her. She hopes you are blown away by the show!


Frances Conway - sophomore

Frances is a Sophomore and this is her first year on the ensemble. She has been dancing since she was 4 doing styles like ballet, tap, and jazz. She was also a gymnast from the age of 3 until she was 13. In her free time she teaches dance and gymnastics classes and likes to cook, watch movies, and hang out with friends. She is excited for Knight moves and her next 2 years at hillsdale!


Liliyana Delgadillo - Senior

Liliyana Delgadillo is currently a senior at hillsdale and this is her second year on the ensemble. Liliyana started dancing at age seven and since has always had a love for tap and hip hop. She took a break at age 13 then shortly fell back in love with dance after being in the intermediate class both freshman and sophomore year. When not dancing, liliyana loves to spend time with her friends, family and boyfriend. She has loved all the memories she has made over the past two years on the ensemble. She wants to thank her mom for always supporting her and pushing her to do her best.


Siena Feinberg - Freshman

Siena Feinberg is a freshman at Hillsdale High School and this is her first year on the dance ensemble. Her early years were filled with dance and gymnastics until age 7. Siena rediscovered her passion for dance in 2020 during the pandemic. Alongside dance, Siena has participated in the Pied Piper Players’ musical productions, finding great joy in acting and performing on stage. Additionally, she is a member of the competition team at Heartbeat Dance Academy and is on the JV cheer team at HHS. Outside of dancing, Siena enjoys hanging out with her friends, listening to music, and watching movies. Siena is very excited to be apart of this amazing group of dancers and wants to thank her family, friends, coaches, and dance teachers for all of their support and love, as none of this would be possible without them!


Kelsie Fong - Freshman

Kelsie is a freshman and is excited to be part of Dance Ensemble. Kelsie has been training at Ayako School of Ballet since age 3, and has attended summer dance intensives at School of American Ballet (New York), Joffrey Academy of Dance (Chicago), DeCruz Ballet (San Antonio) and American Ballet Theatre (Costa Mesa). In addition to ballet, Kelsie enjoys contemporary, modern, hip hop, and jazz. Fun fact: she has been attending Knight Moves performances since she was 4 years old! She’d like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and all the talented members of Dance Ensemble for their encouragement and support!


Addison Han - Sophomore

Addison Han is a sophomore at Hillsdale High School. As a first year, her journey with ensemble is just beginning. She was a soccer player since she was 5. But later, she found her love for dance during quarantine at the age of 13. Now, Addison is taking hip hop classes and exploring styles such as street jazz and jazz. Outside of the studio, she likes to shop, watch movies, play soccer, and spend time with family and friends. She wants to thank her family, friends, and coaches for their patience and support. Addison is more than excited to be part of the Dance Ensemble.


Willow Harbin - SOPHOMORE

Willow Harbin is a Sophomore at Hillsdale High School and this is her second year on the Dance Ensemble. Willow began dancing when she was 8 years old with a love for tap, ballet and hip hop. Over the years she began learning more styles and developing her passion for dance and choreography. She now dances at Principal Creative and Performing Arts (PCPA) and trains in many different styles, including contemporary, lyrical, ballet, jazz, and tap. She is also on PCPA’s Sr. lyrical competition team. When she’s not dancing, Willow loves to hang out with friends and family, listen to music, and travel to places like Disneyland and Hawaii. Willow is very excited to be a part of the Dance Ensemble and would like to thank her parents and dance teachers for their endless support!


Larissa Hu Barrera - Junior

Larissa Hu Barrera is a Junior and this is her third year on ensemble. Larissa has been dancing since she was two and Larissa dances outside of school at Heartbeat Dance Academy and CY Danceworks where she enjoys training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop. In her free time, Larissa enjoys hanging out with friends and shopping. Larissa would like to thank her loving family and friends for the continuous support and would also like to thank all of her teachers throughout her whole dance career for the guidance and patience!!


London Jacobson - SENIOR*

London is senior this year at Hillsdale and this is her fourth year on the ensemble. She has been dancing since the age of three, starting with ballet at Peninsula Ballet Theatre. She moved studios to PCPA to pursue more styles of dance but a few years ago she has returned to full-time ballet, dancing competitively with the Ayako School of Ballet. During her free time, she spends time with her family and friends. She would like to thank her all her amazing teachers, Sabrina for giving her this opportunity to dance with the ensemble, and most of all her parents for providing a way for her to dance!


Jacinda King - Sophomore

Jacinda King is a sophomore at Hillsdale High School and this is her second year on Dance Ensemble. Jacinda started dancing at CY Danceworks at 9 years old, finding her love for hip hop, and trained on their hip hop competition team, Krazy8. Later, she started training in other styles including lyrical, contemporary, and ballet at Melodic Remedy, but her favorite styles to perform and learn are hip hop and jazz. When Jacinda isn’t dancing, she likes to spend time with her friends and family, bake, and listen to music. She would like to thank all her dance teachers and her family for always supporting her and pushing her to do her best!


Cadence Lane - Freshman

Cadence Lane is a freshman at Hillsdale, and this is her first year on the Dance Ensemble. Cadence danced at Fusion Dance Project for 5 years, and soon fell in love with hip hop. Unfortunately her studio shut down during the pandemic, but she started to play lots of sports during middle school and is now on the Varsity Basketball team. After she joined the Dance Ensemble she quickly renewed her passion for dance. Cadence is so grateful she could create new friendships, and be apart of this amazing team. outside of dance, she enjoys watching movies with her family, playing with her sisters, and listening to music. She would like to thank all her teachers and coaches, her mom for always supporting her, and her dad for pushing her to work harder everyday.


Bella Manoukian - Junior

Bella Manoukian is a Junior, and this is her first year on Dance Ensemble. Bella started dancing when she was around 5 years old taking ballet classes. However, she took a long break from dance up until her Freshman year of High School when she took the intermediate dance class at Hillsdale. Her favorite style of dance is lyrical and Jazz. Bella is also on the Hillsdale High School Waterpolo team. Outside of dance Bella enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends, and painting. Bella is very excited to perform in Knight Moves and is extremely thankful for everyone in her life that has supported her!


Zaidey Moreno - Junior

Zaidey Moreno is a junior at Hillsdale High School and is so excited for her first year on the Dance Ensemble. She took her first ballet class at the age of four and a variety of different styles throughout her childhood. She revisited dance when taking the intermediate class as a freshman, but after watching Knight Moves and being amazed, Zaidey decided it was something she wanted to be a part of. So, she started taking dance more seriously and built up the courage to audition for the ensemble the next year. Now, her favorite styles are street jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater. Her passion for getting involved at Hillsdale goes outside of only dancing, Zaidey’s also a 3 year member of the cheer team, as well as a member of leadership. She would like to thank Sabrina for this opportunity, then her family for their endless love and support. Zaidey can’t wait to grow as a dancer and for the memories she is going to make with the ensemble.


Kylee NGo - SOPHOMORE

Kylee Ngo is a Sophomore at Hillsdale, and this is her second year in ensemble. She first started dancing when she was two years old, when her grandma taught her Japanese dance. She started training in various different styles when she was three years old, and hasn't stopped since. She is now a competitive dancer who won Hollywood Vibe Dancer of the Year and is touring with them as part of their Teen Company. She was also part of the Warriors Jr Jam dance team and is currently signed with MSA Agency to work as a professional dancer. She wants to thank her mentors, family, friends, and studio, Nor Cal Dance Arts, for all the support they've given her, and for pushing her to be the best dancer possible. She's so grateful to be a part of ensemble, and can't wait to continue her journey with the team.


Kate Rayborn - Freshman

Kate Rayborn is a freshman and Hillsdale and this is her first year on the Dance Ensemble. She started dancing when she was 4 at Kirkpatricks School of Dance where she took ballet and tap classes. Kate now dances at Heartbeat Dance Academy where she competes in jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Outside of dance Kate is also on the Cheer team at Hillsdale and in her free time she loves to hang out with her friends and travel. Kate is so excited to be a part of the Dance Ensemble this year and would like to thank her family, Sabrina, and all her other dance teachers for the endless support.


Juliana Sanchez - Junior

Juliana Sanchez is a junior at Hillsdale high school, and this is her first year on the dance ensemble. Juliana started dancing at the age of 10 at liv dance arts but this was cut short due to the pandemic. Outside of dance Juliana has been a part of the Hillsdale Cheer team since freshman year and plans to continue until her senior year. When Juliana isn’t dancing she enjoys listening to music, yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. Juliana wants to thank her family for their endless love and support and is looking forward to putting on an amazing show and memorable knight moves!!


Francesca Savage - SENIOR*

Francesca is a Senior at Hillsdale. This is her fourth year being a part of the Dance Ensemble. She trained in ballet and tap for a couple years when she was younger but fell in love with dance when she started competitively at age 8. She previously danced at CY Danceworks for 8 years in hip-hop and was a member of Krazy8. Francesca has also been training in jazz, ballet, and lyrical classes at Melodic Remedy for 3 years. She is also part of Poise’n Brigade’s competitive hip hop team. When Francesca is not dancing, she likes to spend time with friends and family, listen to music, and cook. Francesca would like to thank her parents for always pushing her to be the best she can be and to never give up.


Deanna Spencer - Senior

Deanna Spencer is a senior at Hillsdale and this is her 2nd year on the ensemble. After playing basketball for 7 years, she finally took her first hip-hop class in 7th grade. She ended up sticking with basketball for the rest of her middle school years but eventually found herself loving dance when entering high school. She started in the beginning class her freshman year and worked her way through the levels each year. Outside of dance, she loves to spend time with her friends and family, go shopping and take time for herself. Deanna would like to thank her family for their endless support and encouragement. She can’t wait to grow as a dancer and make many more memories with the Hillsdale ensemble.


Abby Thomson - Junior

Abby Thomson is a junior at Hillsdale and this is her third year on the Dance Ensemble. Abby began dancing when she was 3 and started taking ballet classes at Kirkpatrick School of Dance. Over the years she started taking more styles of dance and started to find her passion for dance. She now dances at Heartbeat Dance Academy and trains in many different styles such as contemporary, lyrical, ballet, jazz, and more. She is also on Heartbeats competition team. When she’s not dancing she loves to hang out with friends, spend time with her family, or relax at home. Abby is very excited to be a part of the Dance Ensemble and would like to thank her parents and dance teachers for their endless support!


Maggie Thomson - Freshman

Maggie Thomson is a freshman at Hillsdale High School and this is her first year on Dance Ensemble. Maggie began dancing ballet and tap at 3 years old at Kirkpatrick School of Dance. She later moved to Heartbeat Dance Academy to continue doing more styles of dance like jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. She is currently on the competition team at Heartbeat Dance. Maggie’s favorite style to perform is definitely jazz. When she isn’t dancing, she spends time with her friends and family. Maggie is super excited to be part of the Dance Ensemble and is so grateful for all the support she’s received from her dance teachers and parents!


Taylor Tong - Junior

Taylor Tong is a junior at Hillsdale High School and it’s her third year on Dance Ensemble. Taylor started taking ballet when she was 5 at Liv Dance Arts. Later on, she started to join other styles of dance such as Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip hop. When she doesn’t dance, she enjoys doing other things such as painting or hanging out with her friends. Taylor would like to thank all of the dance teachers that she’s had, as well as her family for supporting her. She’s so grateful for the chance to dance with such an amazing group of people and can’t wait for more.


Ramona Vancea - Senior*

Ramona Vancea is a senior at Hillsdale High School and this is her fourth year on Dance Ensemble. Ramona began dancing when she was very young where she took occasional classes in a variety of styles. She now dances at Heartbeat Dance Academy and is a part of their competitive team. She currently trains in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop but is also very interested in modern/contemporary styles. One of Ramona’s favorite aspects of dance is getting to learn from many unique choreographers at her studio, conventions, and at school! When she is not dancing, she enjoys spending time with her friends, being outdoors, watching and critiquing movies, and shopping. Ramona would like to thank her family, instructors, and friends for always supporting her and constantly pushing her to be her best!


Lauren Whorl - Senior*

Lauren Whorl is a senior at Hillsdale High School, and this is her fourth year on Dance Ensemble. She started dancing at the age of three taking ballet and tap, and then later added on jazz and modern. Besides dance, she’s also on Hillsdale’s cheer team and enjoys hanging out with friends, going shopping, and traveling. She’s so excited to be a part of the ensemble and would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her.


Samantha Wright - Freshman

Sammy is a freshman and this is her first year on the ensemble. Sammy began dancing when she was two years old at Kirkpatricks School of Dance. Now she dances at Heartbeat Dance Academy on their competition team. She currently trains in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. In her free time she likes to hang out with friends, go shopping, and listen to music. Sammy is very excited to be part of the ensemble and would like to thank her family, dance teachers, and friends for their endless support!


Claire Young - Sophomore

Claire Young is a sophomore at Hillsdale high school, and this is her first year on the Dance Ensemble. She discovered her love for dancing at the City of San Mateo Recreational Center from a young age. Claire was a part of Jazz-Ma-Tazz Dance Troupe for three years and continues to be a part of the San Mateo dance community by volunteering as a dance crew member to work with young dancers. Last year, she started training in various styles at Melodic Remedy and aims to further improve her dance abilities. Claire dedicates her achievements to her grandmother, Jewely, and gives a huge thanks to the rest of her family, friends, and teachers for their endless support!
